SCIOPTA systems GmbH adds the PHYTEC SOM phyCoreAM64x to its portfolio. The unique CONNECTOR technology based on the direct message passing of SCIOPTA enables the developers to leverage the full power of all seven ARM cores with the FuSa certified RTOS.

The SCAPI product allows to run SCIOPTA and Linux on the Cortex-A53 and use the message passing to exchange data.

SCIOPTA is certified up to SIL3/4 according IEC61508, ISO26262, and EN50128.

SCIOPTA Safety RTOS Certificate Update

SCIOPTA Systems GmbH is announcing the availability of a new certification update of the SCIOPTA Real-Time System.
SCIOPTA complies with the functional safety standards ISO26262:2018 up to ASIL D, IEC61508 SIL 3 and EN50128 :2011/A2:2020 SIL 4 by TÜV SÜD Munich.

SCIOPTA received an updated certificate from TÜV Süd for its SCIOPTA Safety Certified RTOS. The new version includes now Analog Devices Blackfin, Infineon Aurix, Renesas RX,  ARMv8-A Architecture (AArch64 only), Power PC and ARM (Arm assembly).

SCIOPTA system adds support for all seven(!) ARM cores of the AM64x.
SCIOPTA’s outstanding direct message passing architecture and unique CONNECTOR concept eases the use of the two Cortex-A53, the four Cortex-R5 and the Cortex-M4.

The IEC61508, ISO26262, and EN50128 certified SCIOPTA on the Cortex-M4 (or all cores) provides a perfect solution to build a mixed critical system with a common API and tailored load balancing.

SCIOPTA System supports now the  Raspberry PI Pico with its FuSA RTOS. The message passing paradigm of SCIOPTA eases designing C/C++ applications for the dual core Cortex-M0 of the RP2040.

SCIOPTA provides drivers to use the WIFI chip to be found on the PicoW board to enable its IPv4/IPv6 stack.

The SCIOPTA RTOS itself is certified according to IEC61508 SIL3, EN 50128 SIL3/4 and ISO 26262 ASIL D. SCIOPTA is royalty free and supports the Pico SDK with GCC and also IAR tools.
